The golf course at the Parador Malaga Golf is in a privileged location, on the sea shore in the heart of the Costa del Sol. It has some seawater lagoons surrounded by link holes - the rest are typical parkland.
The 9th hole is a difficult par 3; it is difficult to reach the green - the slopes of which are difficult to read on windy days.
The 12th is the most difficult par 5 of the course. A very complicated tee shotbetween large trees, a 2nd shot that leaves no room for error and a shot to an elevated green with a large stream bed infront and step slopes.
The 14th is a recovery par 5, although a bad drive will be heavily punished by a sandy rough that it is difficult to play out of. The green is surrounded by water, demanding a very straight shot. The 18th is one of the most difficult par 4s on the Costa de Sol. A double dogleg leads to trouble drives straying to the left into a forest of large trees. The birds nests at the tee shot make silent concentration impossible.
A refreshment stand serving tapas awaits players to celebrate the result.
