Marbella Club Golf Resort

Don't confuse this, Marbella Club Golf Resort, with the Marbella Golf and Country Club - The are not close together and you'll miss your tee times!
This course is a little outside Marbella and is run as part of a Luxury Hotel Chain.  It was designed by Dave Thomas and he has created another masterpiece here. There are marvellous views of the Mediterranean as the course runs through cork, oak and pines. Take care over the 3rd, with a dogleg right uphill; the green is guarded by a large lake in front of it, so the 2nd shop needs to be precise. The trees are high on the 9th, which offers an exhilarating finish. Beware of the 2 trees on the fairway - and the much older specimen guarding the approach to the green.
