Llavaneras Golf

Llavaneras Golf Club was founded in 1945 and is the fourth oldest private club in Catalonia. It has all the characteristics of an exclusive club, not just because of its long establishment and tradition but also because of its location in a wonderful region, El Maresme, only 34 km north of Barcelona, where it has a privileged climate all year round and excellent views simultaneously combining the Mediterranean with the coastal mountain range.

Its micro-climate, plant life and flowers turn this golf course into a wonderful natural garden, making its current 18-hole golf course a true and unforgettable delight to wander round surrounded by nature. Originally, the course only had 9 holes, but it was extended to 18, with par 68, in 1989. The clubhouse was extended later, in 1996, with new facilities and improvements to the existing ones. Finally, in May 2001 two new holes were opened and the course par was changed to the current figure of 70.

At the Clubhouse, a Bar-Restaurant, Dressing Rooms, Golf Shop, Game Room and TV Room are available to all visitors. Buggies, electric trolleys and bags of clubs are available for hire at Reception. Next to the Start Tee is a putting green where you can practise your putt and pitch skills before tackling the course itself. The gastronomic element of Llavaneras Golf Course is also worth mentioning: it has a magnificent restaurant providing hard-to-beat value for money in a pleasant, intimate and informal environment.
