Guadalmina Golf

A complex with 2 courses called simply Norte (North) and Sur (South).
The South course is widely considered to be the most difficult; it is also the 2nd eldest course on the Costa del Sol. In 2002 it was virtually rebuilt, with new tees and greens and the fairways re-laid with turf.
The wide fairways wind between tall shady trees and have almost no rough. The par 3 eleventh has a bunker all the way along one side to catch wayward balls that would otherwise end up on the beach.
The North course is more undulating with a lot more trees and water. The Gualdalmina river runs through the course from North to South.
