El Bosque Golf

El Bosque Golf is an exceptional golf course, only 20km from the centre of Valencia. It has a unique design, which has enabled it to be selected to host the Spanish open on a number of occasions. Each shot must be carefully planned as players negotiate water, bunkers and trees as the course meanders through the natural hills.

The golf course was designed in 1973 and was opened in 1975. The designer, Robert Trent Jones Snr. who designed Valderrama, thought long and hard about the course design. He has made it playable for all types of golfers but also hard enough for the better golfers off the back tees. The course is extremely challenging, needing careful club selection for the long and undulated greens, which often have to be reached with blind shots. Don’t be put off by the difficulty though, this exhilarating course is a real joy to play!
