Caribe Hotel Portaventura Theme Park

The Caribe Hotel is one of 3 hotels situated exclusively within the second biggest theme park area in Europe (Portaventura). It is a good 4 star hotel with the most suitable style and amenities for golfers or golfers with family. A hotel and resort ideal for couples, groups and family bookings, because there is so much going on.

The hotel is in walking distance of Salou, which is one of the Mediterraneans hot spots seaside towns for choice of nightlife and great value!

Staying at the hotel offers customers free unlimited access to the theme park, which is superb in terms of the choice of facilities, restaurants, rides etc. Also, the stretch limo train picks up clients from the hotel and takes them straight into the theme park free of charge. Additionally, there is also free transportation from the Hotel to the 2 golf clubhouses of the North and South courses. Therefore, as a group you do not need to book and pay for car hire as once on resort all your transport is included.

The Caribe has a large white sand swimming pool with relaxing sub tropical gardens, which recreates the charm and ambience of the Caribbean. The Hotel is surrounded by leafy palm trees and offers extra-ordinary outdoor areas, including a running track that circles the grounds, a miniature football ground and a volleyball court. The water features dominate the resort and there are a series of bridges crossing the lake and pool areas onto the other part of the resort. There is also a good indoor pool and gymnasium plus most significantly a good buffet restaurant or a superb up market oriental restaurant which will carry a supplement each time you eat away from the buffet. During the summer season there is also an Italian restaurant available.

The Caribe is within 7 minutes transfers from its own 45 hole golf complex, which includes 27 holes designed by Greg Norman – of which18 holes (South Course), are links style, with 14 water hazards on flat land by the sea close to Tarragona, whilst the North Course is set on higher land with many similarities to PGA Catalunya. Elevated tees and great vistas on every hole.

Golf is unlimited on Caribe bookings and half board also is included a bit like the resorts in Belek Turkey therefore.

The Caribe also has a superb beach club which is open in the summer time, with a free shuttle service offering. Plus, there is a great a la carte restaurant which is open most of the year down on the beach with amazing menus and service.
